  • Recognizing the parts of an analog/digital clock (minute hand, hour hand etc)

  • Explaining  the function of a clock (Asking a student to identify objects that keep time)

Measurement
These are the measurement expectations for the A4 booklet. See below for a more comprehensive list with a focus on life skills.
    • Using simple measurement term correctly (tall/short, big/small, empty/full, tomorrow/yesterday) 

       (also see: Quantitative Concepts)
    • Ordering 2 or 3 objects according to an appropriate measure(sequence events or sort and put away laundry according to sizes)

    • Choosing the correct measurement tool for simple measurement tasks (timer for cooking, measuring cup/spoon for baking, scale for weighing yourself)

    • Describing when it is important to measure and when it is okay to estimate (spices when cooking)
