- Roll playground ball by pushing foot against it without losing balance (no backward swing).
- Kick flexing lower leg on backward swing and with very little or no arm opposition (movement).
- Walk up and kick a stationary ball.
- Kick ball with definite backward and forward leg swing and definite arm opposition.
- Do a coordinated kick with good backward and forward leg swing, arm opposition and follow through.
- Take two or more coordinated steps and kick a ball.
- Run forward and kick a rolled ball.
