- Look through job description and employment ads. Discuss the qualifications necessary and the skills recommended.
- Look through the local paper - challenge students to find the help wanted section.
- Talk about where students can go if they are looking for a job. Visit the local employment office or guidance center.
- Have students take a blank job application and highlight the keywords that tell what information is being requested.
